Do Not Go To This Dentist.
I was recommended by a friend to go to this dentist. She told me she went after not being to the dentist in three years and they told her she had 9 cavities to fix.
So I went and was told I had 12 teeth that were showing decay. Of course to get that information I had to come, get a teeth cleaning and xrays, and then come back to hear about my dental plan. (two copays)
I got 2 of the 12 teeth fixed even though I found her dental plan odd. I have regularly gone to the dentist twice a year)
I planned to show my dentist in my hometown her work, the plan, and the xrays.
I emailed the plan and xrays to my dentist in my hometown before coming in the next week for a cleaning. She also showed them to another dentist. When I finally spoke to her she said I didn't need to get the two teeth fixed that I already had. She also said that of the twelve there were two that needed to be fixed.
I paid over 300 to get my two teeth filled with composites at Del Ray Smiles (and they accept my insurance)
I paid $150 dollars for the same work on two of my other teeth at my hometown dentist.
My dentist told me to report her, which I need to do.
She is scamming everyone!

Dr Tran is very nice, thorough and although young seems very competent. We have used her office for cleaning and minor cavity/filling. My wife got two crowns and Dr Tran thoroughly explained the procedures. Front office staff is courteous, friendly and very competent.
